About Dr. Rachel Balloch

Dr. Rachel Balloch received her Medical degree from Des Moines University. She then went on to complete a three-year, trauma-based foot and ankle surgical residency at University Hospital-UMDNJ, a level one trauma center. After her training she was asked to stay at the trauma center full-time as an attending surgeon, where she trained residents and treated patients.

Dr. Rachel Balloch specializes in the treatment of pathology in the foot and ankle including: Trauma, Pediatrics, Congenital Deformities, Diabetic Limb Salvage and Sports Injuries at our practice serving Hartford County, CT.

She was voted “top doctor” in the field of foot and ankle surgery in 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020.

She also received the Patient Experience Excellence Award in recognition of invaluable dedication and commitment to providing outstanding service and experience for patients in 2016, 2017 and 2018 from Saint Francis Hospital.
